WPMCA 2019 Legislative Conference

The success and the strength of our industry has, and will continue to be, our members and the relationships they build with their legislators. One of the easiest ways to build upon those relationships and show lawmakers just how informed you are is to attend the annual WPMCA Legislative Conference.

This year it’s even more imperative that our members attend the one-day event in Madison. The transportation debate, along with other legislative proposals, could have a direct impact on your industry and your businesses.

The 2019 Legislative Conference will take place on Tuesday, February 26 and we hope you will take time to join us. WPMCA staff will brief you on the issues of the day and provide you with all of the materials and talking points you will need to have a successful meeting with your legislators.

Governor Evers and legislative leaders like Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald and Assembly Speaker Vos have been invited to update attendees on the state budget and other legislative priorities for the new session. We will also be inviting other political insiders to provide their perspective on how Evers and the Republican-led legislature will work together.

Registration for the event is free and includes a continental breakfast and sit-down lunch. WPMCA will handle scheduling all of your meetings and will be there to answer any questions to help you have a successful day at the Capitol. If you have attended past conferences, please bring a friend or co-worker with you this year. If you have never attended, make this the year you decide to join us. It will be worth it.
